Toyota has pulled the covers off its upcoming GR GT supercar, which is expected to hit the streets around 2027. Designed to take on top-tier rivals, the model brings together aggressive styling and cutting-edge hybrid power.
The newly shown prototype is a sleek two-seater built with a racing-inspired structure. Toyota says the focus was to achieve an extremely low center of gravity to keep the car planted on the road at high speed.
Under the hood, the GR GT features a robust new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 paired with an electric motor. Together, they are projected to deliver more than 650 horsepower and push the car past 320 kph.
Its bold dimensions reflect its high-performance focus, though the final price has not yet been set. The car is expected to follow in the footsteps of legendary Toyota models like the 2000GT and the Lexus LFA.
Toyota also introduced two more prototypes: the GR GT3 racer and the electric Lexus LFA Concept. Both point toward a future where Toyota blends tradition with new technology.
